Green Tourmaline Crystals in Matrix (#CR223)

Minas Gerais, Brazil
Three crystals of green tourmaline to 5/8 inch long, one having a flat but somewhat rough termination where it turns from green to very pale pinkish ("watermelon tourmaline"). The others have partial or broken ends.
Matrix is crystalline quartz.
Many smaller tourmalines also, with at least one perfect micro tourmaline (10x mag.) showing pink color and excellent termination.
On back of specimen is a nearly perfect, sharp octahedron of what appears to be magnetite or black spinel, just over 1/16" across.
There are also a couple micro cubes of purple fluorite on here, and micro xtls of what appear to be lepidolite.
