Sterling Hill
Ogdensburg, New Jersey

Brownish, fibrous serpentine-group mineral (most likely clinochrysotile) on a matrix of franklinite-willemite ore from Sterling Hill.  The willemite has the typical, intense-green fluorescence in short-wave (not shown).   There is also calcite (FL red SW) in the matrix rock.

The matrix is rather dense, consisting more of franklinite than willemite.
